David Adam Holsclaw, 36, of Elizabethton, passed away Friday, October 4, 2019, at the residence following an extended illness. He was born April 25, 1983 in Elizabethton.
David was a graduate of Elizabethton High School. He helped his father in the landscaping business. David was a member of Eastside Free Will Baptist Church.
David Adam loved to fish and ride his motorcycle.
He was preceded in death by Papaw Jack Martin and cousin Adam Martin.
Survivors include his parents, David and Jeanie Martin Holsclaw; his maternal grandmother, Wilma Martin; his paternal grandparents, John Arthur and wife Jeannie Holsclaw, and grandmother, Dorothy Holsclaw; his aunts and uncles, Dell and Georgia Kaucher, Karen and Willie Miller, Jackie and Howard Puckett, Sandy and Todd Troutman, David and Jennifer Martin, Laura Hughes, and John Edward and Patti Holsclaw; and several cousins.
Funeral services for David Adam Holsclaw will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 8, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with Pastor Justin Deaton and Pastor David Martin II officiating. Music will be provided by Jennifer Martin. Interment will follow in the Wilson Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be John Edward Holsclaw, George Kaucher, Willie Miller, Howard Puckett, John Little, Todd Troutman, David Martin, David Martin II and Josh Troutman. The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to Dr. Clifford Wiegand, Dr. Tran, the doctors, nurses and staff at Davita Center and many thanks to the doctors and nurses that were involved with his care during the years.
