Schedule of activities at the Elizabethton Senior Center for the week of October 7-11:

Membership Dues: $15 per year for 60 and older; $30 per year for 55-59. Come and join us and receive a monthly newsletter, have lunch, and enjoy the many activities and programs we provide every day and our fully-equipped fitness room.

Monday:  Just Keep Movin’ — Cardio, Toning, Strength Building, 9-10 a.m.; Grandparents Raising Grandchildren, 10 a.m. New members are always welcome! “Grandfamily Guidebook” for everyone; Lunch — Beefy Macaroni, 11 a.m.; Chair Yoga, 12:15-1:15 p.m.; Gentle-Flow Yoga, 1:30-2:30 p.m.

Tuesday: Eat Well, Feel Well, 10 a.m. Part 2 of 5 classes offered by Lacie Young with the UT Extension Office. Learn about food and nutrition, share recipes and experiences, and participate in hands-on activities. Free kitchen items at each class including a canvas bag; Lunch — Beef Tacos, 11 a.m.; Line Dancing — Beginners’ Class, 12-1 p.m.; Line Dancing — Advanced Class, 1-2:30 p.m.

Wednesday: Just Keep Movin’ — Cardio, Toning, Strength Building, 9-10 a.m.; BATS! — Mysterious and misunderstood mammals. Learn of their benefits and struggles, with Connie Deagan, Nature Program Coordinator, 10 a.m.; Lunch — Breaded Fish, 11 a.m.; Chair Yoga, 12:15-1:15 p.m.; Gentle-Flow Yoga, 1:30-2:30 p.m.

Thursday: Walk with Ease, 8-9 a.m.; Dancercize, 9:30-10:30 a.m.; Lunch — Soup Beans/Cornbread, 11 a.m.; Oil Painting, noon-4 p.m. Bob Ross Method with Instructor, Jay Holdway. Instruction and supplies to complete a picture in one afternoon at a cost of $50.

Friday: Just Keep Movin’ — Cardio, Toning, Strength Building, 9-10 a.m.; Let’s Play Bingo, 10 a.m.; Lunch — Chicken Pot Pie, 11 a.m.
