According to Washington County Sheriff Ed Graybeal, on October 16, deputies arrested Michael Gregory Clark, 249 Ridgecrest Road, Jonesborough, on burglary charges which stem from two separate incidents.

Back in September 2018, deputies responded to the 300 Block of Ridgecrest Road in Jonesborough concerning a home invasion where a man had entered a home through a window and then fled the home after being confronted by the homeowner. Deputies and K9 Officers canvassed the area but the suspect was not found. Clark was determined to be the suspect after his fingerprints were recovered from the crime scene. Clark confessed to the break-in to investigators after being questioned.

The other incident involves a break-in at Intimate Treasures located at 3824 West Market St., which occurred back on July 27. In that incident, Clark was identified on security camera footage and he also confessed to that incident.

Clark was located and taken into custody by Indiana authorities and was extradited back to Washington County where he was served two warrants on Wednesday.

He was previously indicted by a grand jury earlier this month for the break-in to Intimate Treasures and charged with burglary and theft of property. Additionally he was charged with one count of aggravated burglary regarding the Ridgecrest Road home invasion.

He is currently being held on a $15,000 bond and was scheduled for arraignment in Sessions Court on Thursday.
