Leon Hood, 84, went to be with Jesus and his beloved wife Nancy on October 16, 2019, at the VA Community Living Center.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Crouch Hood.
Mr. Hood was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during the Korean War era.
He is survived by two sons and their wives, Sidney and Denise and Scott and Deanna, and also three grandchildren, Ashley, Austin and Hayley.
A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Veterans Administration Community Living Center at James H. Quillen VAMC, P.O. Box 4000, (11-B Att. Mary) Mountain Home, TN 37684.
