JOHNSON CITY — East Tennessee State University’s online Child Psychological Science program has been ranked among the Best Online Bachelor’s in Child and Adolescent Psychology programs of 2019 by BestColleges.com.

The ETSU program ranked fourth based on a combination of factors, including academic quality, affordability and online competency.  The rankings include programs with at least 50% of required credits offered online, and ETSU’s program course work can be taken mostly online, although the Department of Psychology does not offer a formal online degree program. A majority of courses may be taken in an online format, and a limited number of on-campus courses or meetings are required.

Both B.S. and B.A. degrees psychology with a concentration in child psychological science are offered for students interested in early human development or in working with children either clinically or in educational or other settings. The concentration requires a minor in early childhood education and development.
