On a recent warm day several of the residents of Ivy Hall Nursing Home visited the Pumpkin Barn located near the Laurels. Among those making the trip were Slvin Whitehead, Woody Buchanan, Eula Grindstaff, Pennye Cable, Blanche Nicholson, Joyce Ragle, Ted Boardman, Marion Ellis, Hazel Weaver, Barbara Fox, Elizabeth Blevins, and Ruth White., They were treated to refreshments as well as a tour of the barn and saw the many different varieties of pumpkin gown by the owner.
