Investigators say the men ordered Domino’s Pizza to a Memphis address. Jones drove away when the homeowner said he didn’t order a pizza.

The men were waiting for Jones at an intersection and tried to open the car doors, which were locked. Thompson fired at Jones as she began to drive away.

Jones died at a hospital.
