UNICOI — The Unicoi History Group will host its annual Veterans Day Luncheon Saturday, Nov. 9, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Tourist Information Center in Unicoi. Both Active and retired military are invited to enjoy a free lunch of homemade hero sandwiches, soups and an assortment of desserts.

“We’re so pleased to be able to do this for our veterans,” said History Group President Pat Lynch. “It’s our small way of saying thank you for all of the sacrifices they’ve made.”

Family members may purchase a meal for only $5. Reservations are requested but not required.

Entertainment will be provided during the luncheon by local artist Scott Wild.
