Charles Ernest “Chuck” Rixon, 82, of Elizabethton, passed away Monday, November 18, 2019, at his residence.
A native of Star Lake, N.Y., he was a son of the late Ernest and Florence Labanty Rixon. He had lived in Carter County for the past 13 years.
Chuck was a retired technician. He had served in the United States Navy. He was a member of the American Legion and was of the Catholic Faith.
Survivors include his wife, Vicky Whitford Rixon; his children, Jeffrey (Debbie) Rixon, Bridgett (John) Huckle, Susan (Colin) Church, Whitney (Brent) Cole and William Church, Edwards, N.Y.; eight grandchildren, Brittney, Cade, Cameron, Paisley, Reid, Caleb, Jacob and Rivir; a brother, Ron Rixon of Virginia; and his sisters, Helen Deloach, Sharon Snyder and Dorothy Rixon, all of New York.
