After a disappointing showing against Liberty Bell on Monday, Coach Matt Fox issued a big challenge to his T.A. Dugger girl’s team and they responded in a 45-21 win over the visiting Happy Valley Jr. Lady Warriors.

The Jr. Lady Cyclones blasted out to a 16-3 lead at the first horn and never looked in the rearview mirror the rest of the way.

Behind 13 points apiece from Michelle Shields and Kayelyn Nave who more than provided enough offense for the win, the Jr. Lady Cyclones played at another level.

Marlee Mathena and Mollie Johnson played a solid contributing role collecting six points each while Aubrey Cole netted three points.

Abbie Crigger and Rhi Williams closed out the scoring for TAD with two points apiece.

Lacey Byrd led all scorers in the contest as the Jr. Lady Warrior blistered the nets for 16 points.

Marcida Thompson and Rayna Byrd were the only other two players who scored for Happy Valley as Thompson rang up four points and Byrd adding one point.
