Upper Gap Creek
Russell Bennett will present special singing at the Upper Gap Creek Free Will Baptist Church Sunday at the 11 a.m. worship service. A love offering will be received.

First United Methodist
“Overflowing Thanksgiving” based on Col. 1: 11-20 is the theme of the message Sunday at First United Methodist Church, Elizabethton, as the congregation celebrates Thanksgiving and Christ the King Sunday.
Morning worship begins at 9:55 a.m. followed by Sunday School at 11:20 a.m.
The 4:12 Junior High Student Ministries will meet Sunday from 4:12 to 5:25 p.m. and the Senior High Ministries will meet from 5:30 to 7:15 p.m. The Coolagers will meet Wednesday at 6 p.m.
Also, Wednesday Life Lessons will be held in the Fellowship Hall at 6 p.m.

A Community Thanksgiving Service will be held Sunday at 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Elizabethton.
Special guests include the Community Choral Club directed by Debbie Gouge.

Valley Forge Free Will
The Primitive Quartet and the Valley Forge Praise Choir will present special singing Sunday at 6 p.m. at Valley Forge Free Will Baptist Church for the 14th Annual E-T Rally for Free Will Baptist Family Ministries.
Everyone is invited.

Grace Baptist
A Thanksgiving service will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday at Grace Baptist Church.
Following the service a Thanksgiving meal will be enjoyed.
The Hanging of the Greens will be held at the church Sunday, Dec. 1, beginning at 6:30 p.m. The public is invited to join the congregation as they begin celebrating the Advent season with traditional carols and scripture reading. During the service, the sanctuary will be transformed for the Christmas season as the significance of each decoration is explained.

Union Hill
Carson and Jamie Peters will join Willard Bowers and Southern Harmony for an evening of special music Sunday at Union Hill Free Will Baptist Church. The service will begin at 6 p.m.
The church is located at 125 Lane Hill Road in Stoney Creek.

First Presbyterian
The pastor, the Rev. Brian C. Wyatt, will preach Sunday at the 11 a.m. service at First Presbyterian Church, 119 W. F St.
His sermon is entitled “Belonging” based on John 18:33-37.
An Education Hour is at 9:45 a.m.
Other opportunities for the week include Meditation at 7 p.m. Wednesday; a Friendsgiving lunch Thanksgiving Day at 1 p.m. (the lunch is open to all); Exercise Class Tuesday and Thursday from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m.; and yoga, Friday from 10 a.m. to noon.

Unaka Baptist
The Brotherhood at Unaka Baptist Church will have a country style breakfast Saturday from 7 to 10 a.m.
The menu will include biscuits, gravy, eggs, two kinds of sausage, bacon and hash brown potatoes. Other items are available on request.
The cost is $7.
Also, there will be country store crafts, baked goods, and homemade items for purchase.
The public is invited to attend and enjoy the food and fellowship.
