Providence Academy sweeps Keenburg

In a tough battle, the Keenburg Lady Tigers came up short against Providence Academy in a thriller by a score of 23-22.
Bambi Nance led the Lady Tigers offensively dropping in nine points in the loss. Tiffany Dugger provided six points while Katie Hartley netted four points.
Ashiah Burgess (2) and Tammy Harrell (1) closed out the scoring for Keenburg in the contest.
Providence Academy was paced by Kenley Green who topped all scorers with 10 points on the night. Emma Honeycutt and Bella Caldwell each pitched in with four points apiece as well.

The Keenburg Tiger boys squad ran into a buzz saw in the form of Providence Academy dropping the contest by 27 points.
Isaiah Linberg led the Tigers offensively in the contest by scoring 11 points. Aiden Gross also had a good night shooting the ball hitting for nine points including one trey.
Noah Gill added five points in the game with Devin Dugger (2) and Jesse Parlier (1) closed out the scoring.
Chadwick and Runnels led Providence Academy with 14 and 11 respectively.
Jr. Lady ‘Dogs take two on road at Johnson County Middle

The Hampton Jr. Lady Bulldog JV team got things rolling on the right foot on the road at Mountain City Monday evening as the Jr. Lady ‘Dogs JV came away with a 10-point win.
Faye Carrico was hotter than Pistol Pete Maravich as the Jr. Lady ‘Dog sharpshooter finished the game with 12 of the 18 points scored by Hampton.
Piper Helle contributed four points in the victory while Audrey Blevins finished with two points.
Carrico also ripped down seven rebounds and two blocks. Abbie Lunsford cleaned the boards for five rebounds as well.
Helle had an all-around good night collecting four steals and three blocks to go with her scoring output.

In a close contest, the Hampton varsity Jr. Lady ‘Dogs had to battle but in the end, found victory with a 26-22 win over the Jr. Lady Longhorns.
Taylor Berry put the girls from Hampton on her shoulders as she set the nets on first hitting 16 of the Jr. Lady Bulldogs 26 point total.
Macy Henry contributed to the win with four points while a trio of players including Piper Helle, Gracie Ballard, and Lacey Smith added two points each.
Berry was all over the court in the contest accounting for seven rebounds, four steals, five blocks, and two assists. Helle also was hustling as well reeling in six rebounds and swiping five steals and a block.
Lindsay Hardin added four rebounds and four steals in the win.

The Hampton Jr. Bulldogs continued to play impressive basketball as the boys from Hampton scored as many points in the first half as the Jr. Longhorns did in the entire game.
Dylan Trivett torched the nets for 12 first-half points on his way to a game-high 21 while big post player Hayden Campbell also reached double digits with 10 in the contest.
Hampton continued to get balanced scoring as Dominic Burleson, Geno Carrico, and Chance Point contributed with four points apiece while Elijah Church added a trey.
Michael Anspaugh and Grayson Young balanced the scorebook with two points each.
Pope and Simcox scored nine and six points respectively for the Jr. Longhorns.
