Thank you, Mom!

My inspiration is my mom. Her name is Beth. Beth is an incredible mom compared to all the moms in the world. She provides food, shelter, clothes, and most importantly, she gives me love. Now I’m adopted, and some of us know how that feels and some of us don’t. When she adopted me, she actually was a labor and delivery nurse. She would spend a tremendous amount of time with me. Sometimes she would even take me to work with her. She has always tried to keep me involved with my birth family, including my mom, brothers, and sisters. My brother that was also adopted, just recently moved in with us, and I haven’t seen him in eight years. Beth does everything for everyone, and she always thinks of herself last. She has never put herself first. When she is at the store, she always gets us things without us asking. She honestly is the best mom I could have ever ask for. If she had not adopted me, I do not know where I would be right now. My mom is my best friend and always will be. She has saved my life before and I’m very thankful for that. We work as a team very well. We think alike. It’s crazy because when we are talking we say the same thing, and then we both start laughing. She is always another mother to my friends. She doesn’t act like a mom; she acts like a friend. Unless it’s something that could harm me or my friends. When I mess up, she always gives me another chance. She tells me what I did wrong, and she tells me how I can fix it. She always says it is okay. She might be disappointed, but she always comes around. I love her with all my heart, and she has so much love to give back to the world.
