JOHNSON CITY — Though Christmas 2019 is still a few days away, Blue Plum Organization is already planning the 2020 Johnson City Christmas Parade and is seeking public input on the parade’s theme.

The community is invited to visit the Blue Plum Organization’s Facebook page Dec. 17-30 to vote for one of the five proposed parade themes for 2020 which are “Miracle on West Walnut Street,” “Homemade Christmas,” “It’s a Wonderful Life,” “Christmas in Toyland” and “The Nutcracker.”

“Our 2019 parade was a huge success and we are extremely grateful to our sponsors for making all of this possible,” said Jennifer Clements, a Blue Plum Organization board member and parade chairperson. “We had over 80 floats, two marching bands and a record number of attendees who came to see the Clydesdales.”
