Pray for justice and truth for America

To the Editor:

I disagree with the writer of, “Some Trump supporters are concerned by his actions.” The charges against Trump are trumped up charges and aren’t serious. According to legal experts at www.aclj.org the two paper thin articles of impeachment the Democrats will have the U.S. House of Representatives(House) vote on are “Abuse of Power” and “Obstruction of Congress.” The two articles don’t have an allegation of criminality. Democrats argue Trump can be impeached for bad motives, even if no crime was committed. If the House passes the articles they go to the U.S. Senate. Senate Majority Leader Mitch Mc-Connell said, “The case is so darn weak coming over from the House, we all know how it’s going to end. There’s no chance the President is going to be removed from office.” Republicans say the case is weak because neither article is mentioned in the U.S. Constitution as reason for impeachment.

Pray for justice and truth for America. Justice means getting what you deserve without favor.

The Democrat leadership and media isn’t interested in real justice and truth if it doesn’t advance their agenda. One leader of CNN said, “the news is what we say it is.” The Democrat leadership wants to abort President Trump just like they have done to millions of unborn babies. The Democrat Party looks upon abortion as a right and supports taxpayer funding in their party platform for this evil injustice. At the Democratic Party Convention one woman proudly shouted out about her abortion to a cheering crowd and loud applause.

Justice is of the highest importance to God. Psalm 89:14 “righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne.” Dealing with injustice is one of the hardest things for people to go through. God sees everything. (Psalm 139) God will punish all evil.(Proverbs 11 and Isaiah 13:) God uses injustice to sanctify the believer.( James 1) Romans 8 suggest that God works all things (including injustice) for good to those who love Him. This is seen in the case of Joseph who was sold into slavery but God worked it for good. The greatest injustice the world has ever seen was the death of Jesus on the cross.

Christians know the gospel (good news) is Jesus died for sin, was buried and rose again and is the only one that can forgive sin and make us just. Many Christians wrongly believe we must choose between fighting for social justice, fighting injustice and spreading the good news of Jesus. However clearly failing to speak the truth of the gospel is ultimately the greatest injustice of all. The human heart is the source of injustice so the gospel is the only real solution. Making sharing the gospels transforming truth and power the highest priority. The human right to know Jesus and make Him known is the greatest human right. Knowing the gospel is in fact every humans greatest need and right and therefore the greatest justice issue of our time. Our highest calling is to spread the gospel-the only truth that has the proven power to positively change our world, by changing us from the inside out!

The late Dr. D. James Kennedy documented how Jesus had the most positive effect of anyone in history. Scholar Charles Murray found Christianity underlies most of human accomplishment. The birth of Jesus was the only event in history that had the importance to change time (B.C. to A.D.)

and restart the calendar. Jesus changed the world for the better, one life at a time. For life changing positive impact, Jesus reigns supreme, no one comes close. It began with our first picture of Jesus as a baby in a manger!
