Witten Huddle warms up EHDA residents

Wednesday afternoon Ryan Witten and his wife Kelly along with their Witten Huddle helpers returned to the EHDA community to distribute coats, hoodies, scarfs, gloves, hats and lots of hugs to the residents.
Ryan started the Warm Up With Witten Huddle four years ago and the campaign continues to grow each year. Youth from Witten Huddle, their family and numerous community leaders participated in the delivery including Mayor Rusty Barnett and First Lady Kim along with Coach Shawn Witten and several members of the State Champion Cyclone football team.
Ryan and his helpers exhibit the true meaning of Christmas as he is not only teaching the youth the value of sports but giving back to your community and helping others. You could not ask for a better group of young people as they were polite, respectful and well mannered on this cold day. The public housing community is so appreciative of their efforts and you will not find a better group of young people who are overjoyed to knock on doors and present families with winter wear.
This wonderful group visited every residence and provided warmth for the winter to all ages. It would warm your heart to see the Witten Huddle family in action. They don’t just hand out the gear, they talk to every person and ensure they get the right size and type of clothing they want. If you see Ryan, his family and members of Witten Huddle please let them know how much they mean to our community and how blessed we are to have them in our lives.
On behalf of all of the residents, we would like to publically thank Witten Huddle for their generosity and support provided to the EHDA community. As a result of their efforts, the residents will have a warmer winter. Please join us in thanking these outstanding young men and ladies as well as all who contributed and assisted with the delivery. We are forever grateful to Ryan and his kind heart for establishing this event that continues to grow.
