Joyce Kaye Huddleston Willocks

Joyce Kaye Huddleston Willocks, 69, of Johnson City, passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2019, at her residence after an extended illness. She was born June 5, 1950 in Miller, S.C., to the late Edwin V. and Norma Haffner Huddleston. She had lived most of her life in Carter County.
Joyce was a former Human Resource Manager at North American Rayon Corporation and retired as Benefits Manager, Human Resources at East Tennessee State University. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Elizabethton, but attended Grace Fellowship, Johnson City.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Stanley Willocks; two children, Kirsti Angela (Paul) Donaldson, Johnson City, and Eric Dustin (Christy) Willocks, Gray; three grandchildren, Chloe Donaldson, Ashlyn Willocks and Ethan Willocks; a brother, Larry (Nelida) Huddleston, Tacoma, Wash.; two sisters, Jeanie Walsh, Johnson City, and Janis Daudt, Alta Loma, Calif.; several nieces and nephews; her special friend who was like a sister to her, Joyce Grindstaff; and her other friends, Tammy Hamm and Eric Crigger.
A memorial service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Monday, December 30, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with Pastor Ray Amos officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at a later date at Mountain Home National Cemetery. The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to Joyce Grindstaff, Tammy Hamm and Richard and Debbie Whitson for their support during her illness. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Joyce to the First United Methodist Church, 325 East E Street, Elizabethton, TN 37643. Friends may also visit with the family at her residence.
