She spent most of her life in Johnson City, Tenn., and raised two daughters who survive, Linda Stocton (Roger) and Sheila Darlene Moffett. She also leaves behind to cherish her memory four grandchildren, Shelley Stocton King (Alan), Matt Odom (Donna), Josh Odom (Emily) and Landon Odom (Emily). The great-grandchildren were a joy to her life, Caleb, Gracen, Jordan, Lindsey and Cameron King, Cortnee and Kimberlee Odom, Haven and Joshua Odom, Noah and Ethan Odom. Her sister-in-law and friend, Bertie Putman, survives and her nephew, Rick Putman (Tammy and Rachel); also several cousins.
She was a member of Rich Acres Free Will Baptist Church. She loved her pastor and friends. In her lifetime she made dozens of quilts for her children and grandchildren. She loved gardening, beautiful flowers and keeping bees. She worked hard, she loved nature, she loved her family, and was a caregiver at heart.
We will her miss her love so desperately. Our plan is to meet her in Heaven someday. We love you Mom, we love you Nan. We will be home in just a little while. We are thankful He gave us to you.
