Sycamore Shoals State Park in Elizabethton will host a gardening seminar series on Saturday, Feb. 1, from 9 a.m. until noon in the Community Room.

“Raised Beds and Compost” sure can make gardening simpler and easier. Less weeds, no plowing, no rotatilling, no hoeing, start earlier, and end later. The seminar will be presented by two master gardeners, Ben Hunter and Vonda Little.

The seminar is sponsored by N.E. Tennessee Master Gardeners and Sycamore Shoals State Park. The event is free to the public. For more information, call (423) 543-5808.
