Tony Joe Rasnick, 66, of Elizabethton, loved husband, father and grandfather, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2020, at Johnson City Medical Center.
A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late James and Ethel Spears Rasnick.
Tony served in the United States Army and the Tennessee National Guard. He was a mechanic. Tony was of the Free Will Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Kathy Sue Grindstaff Rasnick; a son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Jo Ellen Rasnick; and his grandchildren, Joseph Rasnick and Jacob Hillman.
Graveside services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday, January 22, at Mountain Home National Cemetery (New Section), 215 Heroes Drive, Mountain Home. Military Honors will be provided by the Carter County Honor Guard. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 2:50 p.m. Wednesday.
