First Presbyterian
The 11 a.m. service Sunday at First Presbyterian Church, Elizabethton, will feature a variety of readings from scripture and other literary sources celebrating the beauty of creation as the congregation dedicates six new worship banners adorning the sanctuary.
An education hour for all ages will be held at 9:45 a.m.
Other opportunities of the week include Meditation at 7 p.m. Wednesday; Thursdays with Jesus group from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon Thursday; exercise class Tuesday and Thursday from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m.; and yoga, Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
The church is located at 119 W. F St.
Dr. Brian Wyatt is pastor.

Roan Street Free Will
The Rev. Mark Potter will preach at both the morning and evening services Sunday at Roan Street Free Will Baptist Church.
The church is located at 820 N. Roan St.
The public is invited.

Harmony Baptist
The Eternals will present special singing Sunday at the evening service at Harmony Baptist Church. The service begins at 6 p.m.
The church is located at 130 Keenburg Road, and the public is invited.

Unaka Baptist
The Brotherhood at Unaka Baptist Church will have a country-style breakfast Saturday from 7 to 10 a.m.
The menu will include biscuits, gravy, eggs, two kinds of sausage, bacon, and hash brown potatoes. Other items available on request.
The cost is $7.
Everyone is invited to attend and enjoy the food and fellowship.

First United Methodist
The pastor, the Rev. Raymond Amos, Sr. will present the message “What Holds Us All Together” Sunday at the 9:55 a.m. worship service. The message is based on I Cor. 1: 10-18.
Sunday School will follow at 11:20 a.m.
The 4:12 Junior High Student Ministries will meet Sunday from 4:12 to 5:25 p.m.; the Senior High Ministries at 5:30 p.m. Sunday.
The Coolagers will meet Wednesday at 6 p.m.
Also, Wednesday evening Life Lessons will be held at 6 p.m. in the fellowship hall.
