Carl William “Buck” Miller, 78, Elizabethton, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2020, at Hillview Health Center following an extended illness. He was born May 22, 1941 in Blountville to the late William Stewart and Pauline Smellcer Miller.
Carl had lived in Elizabethton for several years. He was a graduate of Blountville High School and a Home Improvement Contractor. Prior to that he was employed at the Raytheon & UNIVAC Corporation.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Miller; a son, Brian Miller; and three brothers, John, Fred and Bob Miller.
Survivors include his children, Roda Miller and Matthew Miller; his grandchildren, Brittany Warren, Riley Miller, Dylan Miller and Emily Miller; his great-grandchildren, Wren Warren, Brantley Miller and Maddie Miller; his brothers, Ronnie, Jim and Danny Miller; his sisters, Evelyn, Martha and Carolyn; and several nieces and nephews.
It was his wish to be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
