CONTRIBUTED — TCAT Elizabethton students who have served in the U.S. Armed Services were recognized Wednesday at a celebration lunch held in their honor. TCAT Elizabethton is a military friendly campus.

Lori Clarke, TCAT Elizabethton School Certifying Official (SCO), said there is a 94% program completion rate among veterans attending TCAT Elizabethton. “The student veterans at TCAT Elizabethton are among the best leaders in the classroom. The maturity and life experience brings new meaning and changes the prospective of those who have never left home nor been outside the United States.

“We are honored to have the ones that have defended our country pick TCAT Elizabethton as their next career steppingstone. We thank them for all they have done to protect our freedoms that far too many take for granted,” Clarke said.
