The Milligan College Men/Women in Song Festival will be Saturday all day with the finale concert at 7 p.m. in the Mary B. Martin Auditorium, Seeger Chapel.
The one-day choral festival is open to singers of any age from high school through adult.
Dr. Rosephanye Powell from Auburn University will be the guest conductor of the women’s festival choir.
The men’s festival choir will be led by Dr. Noah DeLong of Milligan and Dr. Alan Stevens of ETSU.
Participants will have the opportunity to fellowship with other singers, build confidence in their vocal abilities, and learn new music to perform in a public concert that concludes the festival.
The finale concert, which is free and open to the public, also will include performances by Milligan and ETSU vocal ensembles, as well as other featured choirs from throughout the Tri-Cities region.
The festival is jointly sponsored by Milligan and ETSU and is partially funded by a grant from the Tennessee Arts Commission.
