Jackie Lynn Holloway, 62, of Hampton, Tenn., went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 17, 2020, at her home surrounded by her family, following an extended illness.
Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, Bettye and Claude Malone.
Those left to cherish her memories include her loving, devoted husband of 34 years, John Holloway; daughters, Heather Hatley and Mindy Holloway; grandchildren, Caleb Oaks and Sydney Covington; sisters, Johnnie (Richard) Pilk and Jimi Malone; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
A native of Elizabethton, Tenn., Jackie was a 1975 graduate of Elizabethton High School. She was of the Baptist faith. Jackie enjoyed spending time with family and friends, fishing, cooking, shopping and spoiling her grandchildren. She had two special fur babies, Molly and Gunner, that never left her side. She was known for taking care of others before herself.
The family would like to thank the staff of Amedysis Hospice, especially Gail and Emilee, for the loving care given to Jackie during her illness. The family will be receiving friends on Thursday, February 20, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Lynn Valley Baptist Church, 1367 Broad Street, Elizabethton, TN 37643.
