First United Methodist
The theme of the message for morning worship Sunday at First United Methodist Church is “The One We Should be Listening To” based on Matthew 17: 1-9. Morning worship begins at 9:55 a.m. and the message will be given by the pastor, the Rev. Raymond Amos, Sr.
Sunday School is at 11:20 a.m.
The 4:12 Junior High Student Ministries will meet Sunday from 4:12 to 5:25 p.m.; the Senior High Ministries will meet from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m.
Sunday evening Bible Study and Children’s Choirs will meet at 6 p.m.
The Koolagers will meet Wednesday at 6 p.m. Also, the Life Lessons Bible Study will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the fellowship hall.
A nursery is provided for the Sunday morning service.

First Christian
Jonah was an Old Testament prophet who was a rebel, but God used that rebel in a great way. Minister Michael Klaus will share Jonah’s “fish story” in his sermon at the morning worship service Sunday at 9:45 a.m. at First Christian Church, Elizabethton.
Beginning Wednesday at 6 p.m., First Christian will host a multi-generational study of the five books of the Old Testament.
There are also classes for students and kids at First Christian Sunday morning and evening and Wednesday evening.

New Liberty
Eleanor Bell Colbaugh, infant daughter of Pastor Rev. Nick and Lynae Colbaugh, will be dedicated to the Lord this Sunday during the 11 a.m. morning worship service.
Music will be provided by the New Liberty Revival Choir with Pastor Colbaugh conducting the dedication service and Pastor Emeritus Rev. Ray Colbaugh (great-grandfather) delivering the dedication prayer. All family, friends, and extended church family are invited to attend this special service and support the Pastor and his wife as they dedicate their daughter to the Lord.
New Liberty Free Will is located at 113 Peters Hollow Road near the Stoney Creek Volunteer Fire Department.

Caldwell Springs
Carson Peters and Iron Mountain will be in concert at Caldwell Springs Baptist Church March 1 at 2 p.m. Donations at this event will benefit Laban Carrier, who is currently serving as a missionary in Nicaragua.

Carson Peters and his band, Iron Mountain, will present a concert of music and praise Sunday at 6 p.m. at Union Hill Free Will Baptist Church.

The Rev. David Martin will speak at the morning and evening services Sunday at Roan Street Free Will Baptist Church, Elizabethton.

Riverside Community
Riverside Community Church of Jesus will host a benefit singing for David Cox this evening at 7 o’clock.
The church is located at 121 Patterson Lane.

First Presbyterian
The pastor, Dr. Brian Wyatt, will present part two of his message on Job at the morning worship service Sunday at First Presbyterian Church, Elizabethton. Scripture for the message is Job 38: 1-21.
The service begins at 11 a.m.
An Education Hour is at 9:45 a.m.
Other opportunities for the week include Meditation at 7 p.m. Wednesday; the Thursdays with Jesus Group from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon Thursday; Exercise Class, Tuesday and Thursday from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m.; and yoga, Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
