Lady Prime take tournament with 3-1 record

- Photo Contributed The Lady Prime Marissa Coleman (LPMC) 4th/5th grade girls basketball team finished first in the TN Premier Hoops Model City Madness tournament on February 22.

LPMC went 3-1 in the tournament, defeating the VA Ballerz in the championship game by a score of 26-13, a team they had lost to previously in the tournament.
LPMC was led by Adrian Heading, who scored 64 points for the entire tournament.
“I’m so glad our girls stepped up to beat a team they had lost to earlier in the day,” said LPMC head coach Autumn Lyon. “These girls work great together, and they play unselfish basketball, they move the ball well and see each other on the floor.”
Rounding out the tournament scoring for LPMC were Bella Hitt with 17 points, Addy Campbell with 16 points, Rylee May with 13 points, Reagan May with 10 points, Kenzi McClain with nine points, Laci Gobble with eight points, Madison Barnett with six points, and Bryanna Nickles with four points.
