Gregory Todd Winters

Gregory Todd Winters, 57, Elizabethton, passed away Monday, March 2, 2020, at his residence after an extended illness. He was born October 13, 1962 in Johnson City, to the late Grayson Winters and Phyllis Winters Garland.
Greg was a graduate of Hampton High School and was a contractor. Greg loved old cars, riding horses and NASCAR. He was a very hard worker, loved his friends and family and was a loving husband, father and Papaw. He attended Hunter Memorial Baptist Church.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Nikki Hicks Winters; his children, Clo’e Winters, Kassie Winters, Masey Hart and Kayla Winters and companion Wendell Wallen, who was like a son, and grandson, Carter Wallen. We would like to say a special thank you to all the friends that showed Greg laughter, love and support during his final days.
A service to celebrate the life of Greg will be conducted at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 7, at Hunter Memorial Baptist Church with Pastor Doug Hartley officiating. The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to the staff of Ballad Health Hospice, Heather Holland with Ballad Health, and friends and family who were by our side.
