Joseph Lee “Joey” Miller, 37, Elizabethton, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2020, in Elizabethton.
Joey was a graduate of Hampton High School and a former employee of Tri-City Plating. He loved to go fishing with his dad.
Joey was looking forward to watch his son perform in the theatre.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Clifton and Hazel Collins, and his paternal grandmother, Thelma Brummitt Miller.
Survivors include his son, Kaleb Bruce Miller; his parents, Sonny and Joyce Collins Miller; several uncles, aunts and cousins; and a special friend, Heather Hicks.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, March 9, in the Lyons Cemetery with the Rev. Dexter Brummitt officiating. Intement will follow. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Friends may visit with the family at the home of his parents. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 10:15 a.m. Monday to go in procession to the cemetery.
