Senior Center Schedule

Schedule of activities at the Elizabethton Senior Center for the week of March 9-13:
Membership Dues: $15 per year for 60 and older; $30 per year for 55-59. Come and join us and receive a monthly newsletter, have lunch, and enjoy the many activities and programs we provide every day and our fully-equipped fitness room.
Monday: Just Keep Movin’ — Cardio, Toning, Strength Building, 9-10 a.m.; Grandparents Raising Grandchildren, 10 a.m. A representative from the City/County School System will be here to guide you through the process of obtaining information about your child’s grades and things you need to know to navigate the school year; Lunch — Oven Fried Chicken Breast, 11 a.m.; Chair Yoga, 12:15-1:15 p.m.; Gentle-Flow Yoga, 1:30-2:30 p.m.
Tuesday: Lunch — Spaghetti/Meat Sauce, 11 a.m.; Line Dancing — Beginners’ Class, 12-1 p.m.; Advanced Line Dancing — 1-2:30 p.m.
Wednesday: Just Keep Movin’ — Cardio, Toning, Strength Building, 9-10 a.m.; Free Blood Pressure Check with ProCare, 9-10 a.m.; Lunch — Soup Beans/Cornbread, 11 a.m.; Chair Yoga, 12:15-1:15 p.m.; Gentle-Flow Yoga, 1:30-2:30 p.m.
Thursday: Dancercise, 9:30 a.m.; Lunch — Sloppy Joe, 11 a.m.; Oil Painting, 12-4 p.m. Bob Ross method with Instructor, Jay Holdway. Instruction and supplies to complete a picture in one afternoon at a cost of $50; SALT Meeting, 12:30 p.m.
Friday: Just Keep Movin’ — Cardio, Toning, Strength Building, 9-10 a.m.; Let’s Play Bingo, 10 a.m.; Lunch — Polish Sausage/Cabbage, 11 a.m.
March 24 — March for Meals at 11 a.m. Yes, there is such a thing as a FREE lunch and you can enjoy one today. Hot dogs, baked beans, potato wedges, coleslaw, and dessert. Reservations are required no later than Friday, March 20. Provided by HRA nutrition program. Come and see what good lunches we serve.
