Dana Larry Brockwell

Dana Larry Brockwell, 70, of Johnson City, Tenn., went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 12, 2020, from Hillview Health Center of Elizabethton. Dana was born in Johnson City to the late James William Brockwell and Pauline Pierce Brockwell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, Michael Gale Brockwell; brother, James LaVonne Brockwell; and a beloved sister-in-law, Judy Reece Brockwell.
Dana had worked at Tennessee Vocational Training Center in Elizabethton and loved to draw and play checkers.
Those left to cherish his wonderful memories include a sister, Jeanette Bowers (Robert) of Elizabethton, and four brothers, Carroll Wayne Brockwell, Roger Dale Brockwell, Donald Leon Brockwell and Stephen Anthony Brockwell, all of Elizabethton. Several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews also survive.
A service to celebrate the life of Dana Larry Brockwell will be conducted at 7 p.m. Sunday, March 15, in the Chapel of Peace at Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton, with Mr. Richard Thomason, minister, and Dr. Kenneth Jordan officiating. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, prior to the service. The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, March 16, in the Buckles Cemetery. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at Buckles Cemetery at 10:50 a.m. Monday. The family would like to especially thank the C.O.R.E.S.
