Nell Lassie (Morrell) Reed will celebrate her 85th birthday on Tuesday, March 17, 2020. She was born in Bluff City in 1935.

Nell married her husband, the late Cecil H. Reed Jr., also on March 17, in 1956. Along with Nell’s birthday, she and Cecil would have celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary on March 17.

Nell is a member of the First Church of The Nazarene.

She has eight children — six daughters and two sons.

She also has eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
