Roan Street Free Will
Church services at Roan Street Free Will Baptist Church have been canceled until April 5 due to the coronavirus.

First Free Will
Church services and activities at First Free Will Baptist Church have been canceled through April 1 due to the coronavirus and requests from the CDC not to have public gatherings of more than 10 people.
The pastor and board will meet after April 1 and make a determination of future services. Until then services will be streamlined on the church’s Facebook page.

Fellowship Community
Fellowship Community Church in Watauga will have their second drive-in service Sunday, March 29, at 11 a.m.
Everyone is invited to attend the service with praise and worship from their car.
“We are at a time we definitely need to continue serving and praising he Lord,” said the pastor, Ken Hauser.

Singing Postponed
The benefit singing scheduled for March 28 at Hopson Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, 601 Tiger Creek Road, Roan Mountain, has been canceled.
The event will be rescheduled at a later date.

CCCMF Praise Service canceled
The Fifth Sunday Praise Gathering, sponsored by the Carter County Christian Men’s Fellowship, scheduled for Sunday evening at Lower Shell Creek Christian Church, has been canceled due to crowd limitations imposed by the CDC during the coronavirus pandemic.

First Christian
First Christian Church, Elizabethton, is having its Sunday morning service online. “We will continue to learn how to be spiritually close in a socially distant world,” said Pastor Mike Klaus.
Janie Broyles will have special music and Dr. Jim Pearson will share the communion meditation.

First United Methodist
All worship services and gatherings at First United Methodist Church have been canceled until further notice.
The pastor, the Rev. Raymond Amos’s sermon can be viewed on the church’s Facebook page at 10 a.m. Sunday.
Bible study and Lenten messages will also be available on Facebook and the church website.

First Presbyterian
The public is invited to join Pastor Brian Wyatt of First Presbyterian Church, Elizabethton, for a virtual service at: http://fpcelizabethton.org/connect/virtual-worship Sunday at 11 a.m.
Dr. Wyatt will preach a sermon from Mark 1: 9-13 entitled “A Longer Lent.”
Youth Forum and Meditation will be held online this week. All in-person events are currently canceled.
