Cathy Dianne Keller Cordell, 63, Butler, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2020, at Johnson City Medical Center following an extended illness.
Cathy was a native of Carter County and a graduate of Lampasas High School, Lampasas, Texas. She was a homemaker. Her hobbies were playing with her grandchildren and she loved music and her animals.
Cathy was a member of Pierce Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her son, Jesse Cordell; her father, Clarence Keller; and her special friend, John Shoemake.
Survivors include her daughters, Amie Broomhall and husband Kyle, Knoxville, and Shannon Brown and her fiancé John Parrott, Greeneville, Tenn.; her mother, Dorothy Vines Keller, Butler; a brother, Mike Keller and wife Tina, Butler; three grandchildren, Timothy, Isaiah and Patrick Brown; two nieces, Jenny Keller and Brandy Clark; and her four legged friend Gypsy.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 2, in the Butler Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Steve Dugger officiating. Interment will follow the service. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Friends may register their presence at the funeral home anytime Tuesday or Wednesday until 5 p.m. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 1:50 p.m. Thursday.
