Beginning in today’s issue of STAR Sports, our readers will begin to see photos of some teams and players from days gone by thanks to the help of C.Y. Peters who has dug into the archives of sports photos that hopefully will help those who are pictured to bring back some great memories of their time in sports here in Carter County.
This time capsule of photos will hopefully help stir up some talk about those in the photos and maybe encourage someone to reach out to reconnect during this time where things are in a paused state.
Here are the first photos of this series. Our hope is that our readers will enjoy seeing some of the former great athletes that have passed through Carter County sports history.
