Robert “Blue” Bowers

Robert “Blue” Bowers, 80, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2020, at his home. He was born in October 1939 to parents, Harsie Taylor and William Bowers.
Blue was an avid deer hunter and enjoyed hunting and traveling with his wife. He retired from the City of Elizabethton after 30 years of service. He was proud to have served in the Army.
Blue attended Elizabethton First Church of the Nazarene.
He is survived by his wife, Gail; daughters, Regina Taylor and Mary Brummett; son, Conley Peters; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
