Martha Louise Williams Schramlin

Martha Louise Williams Schramlin, 95, of Elizabethton, Tenn., passed away Friday, April 3, 2020, at her residence. She was born in Athens, Tenn., and was the daughter of the late Leona Williams and Nick Karamblockis.
Immediately following her graduation from high school, Martha began working at Kingsport National Bank. She retired from Carter County Bank, Elizabethton, after 21 years of service. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and was also a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary, M.O.C. Auxiliary and the Women of the Moose Lodge.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Schramlin, and a daughter, Becky Mottern.
Those left to cherish her memory include a daughter, Jackie Gioia of Florida; a son, Michael Ladd of Pennsylvania; a step-daughter and a step-son. Thirteen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren also survive.
A private graveside service to honor the life of Martha Schramlin will be conducted at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Friends may visit Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8, to sign the guest register book. Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38102-1905.
