Paul William Zimmerman

Paul William Zimmerman, 49, born May 1, 1970, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2020, after a brief illness.
Paul loved motorcycles and rode every chance he got. He was known as the guy who could fix anything from cars to TVs and everything in between. Paul spent many years working at R & M Electronics in Elizabethton where he would fix VCRs, car stereos and such by replacing the “flux capacitor.”
Paul had a generous heart and he loved helping others. He would do anything he could to help someone. He had a particular love of helping elderly people. Paul was intelligent, thoughtful, and possessed a quick wit and a wonderful sense of humor. He will be incredibly missed by everyone.
Those left to cherish memories of Paul include his mother, Sandra Zimmerman; his sister, Tracey Zimmerman; and his brothers, Matt and John Zimmerman. Paul also left behind nieces, Amber Gale and Bryn Cannon, and nephews, Sean, Thomas and Dane Cannon and Cody and Eli Zimmerman and Caiden Zimmerman. Paul had many friends as well, including his best friend, Thomas Shipley, who loved him immensely.
