ARM refines its pandemic operation plan

Assistance and Resources Ministries, Inc., like all businesses and organizations, has had to address functionality during the COVID-19 pandemic.
ARM instituted a drive-by food pick-up system, which required additional younger volunteers to temporarily replace many of the more elderly volunteers, who were at greater risk of the viral infection.
Additionally the clothing closet was closed for clients and donations, with only ARM staff and volunteers allowed to stay in the building. Clients’ cars can drive on the west side of the building, and clients are being asked to stay in their vehicle. After documentation is confirmed, vehicles may drive to the east side of the building for food pick-up.
As the intensity of the pandemic builds, ARM personnel has decided to operate only two days per week, Tuesdays and Wednesday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., closing for lunch from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
During this time, food and monetary donations are welcomed as the organization strives to meet the needs of the Carter County community.
Please note that the ARM Concert at Borderview Christian Church, originally planned for Saturday, May 16, has been postponed with plans to reschedule it this summer.
