Parks and Recreation and the Library to offer Virtual Fortnite dance competition

Published 12:13 pm Tuesday, April 14, 2020

Elizabethton Parks and Recreation and the Elizabethton/Carter County Public Library have teamed up to offer virtual contests through our Facebook pages to help keep our community engaged, active and imaginative while staying safe at home!

The first of these virtual contests begins Tuesday April 14, through Friday, April 17, 2020, 12:00 P.M. as we host a Fortnite Dance Competition. This competition is open to all ages and participants will upload a video of themselves, their children, or anyone in their households dancing to one of the video game’s famous emotes. Participants are encouraged to wear a “skin” if they have one (like in the game), and to let us know the emote name they are doing and then upload the video to the Elizabethton Parks and Recreation’s Facebook page.

Three winners will be chosen on Friday, April 17, 2020 and will be awarded a Fortnite Fan Pack courtesy of the Elizabethton/Carter County Public Library.
