JOHNSON CITY – Head coach Brittney Ezell announced today the addition of ETSU Women’s Basketball’s first transfer in their 2020 recruiting class, fifth-year collegiate guard, and Fayetteville, N.C. native Kelly Post.
“Kelly brings a multitude of toughness, experience, and passion to the program,” Ezell said. “She is a leader in every facet of the word and her work ethic is extraordinary. Kelly fits a need in our program perfectly and we are excited to have her join us in Johnson City.”
The 5-foot-6 graduate transfer attended Village Christian Academy and scored over 2,000 career points while swiping over 1,000 steals and amassing nearly 1,000 assists and rebounds as well.
Following her acclaimed high school career, Post enrolled at Division I Campbell University, appearing in six games as a freshman before moving on to Division II Mount Olive.
While with the Trojans over the next three seasons, the Bucs newest member of the backcourt appeared in 83 games, starting 48, while piling up 337 points, 298 rebounds, 147 steals, and 154 assists to just 114 turnovers, an impressive 1.4 assist-to-turnover ratio.
Post joins five freshmen that are already on board with the Buccaneers for the 2020-21 campaign:
