Doris Janet Lovelace Colbaugh, 69, Piney Flats, passed away Monday, May 4, 2020, at Holston Valley Medical Center, Kingsport.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Pauline Pierce Lovelace.
Doris was a graduate of Hampton High School. She was retired from Blue Ridge Fabricators after 18 years of service. Doris was a member of Union Hill Free Will Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
 Survivors include her husband, Leroy Colbaugh; two sons, Rev. Joseph (Brittney) Colbaugh, Piney Flats, and Mark Colbaugh, Elizabethton; five grandchildren, Tiffany Cook, Thomas Colbaugh, Karter Colbaugh, Madalyn Stines and Brent Perry; two great-grandchildren, Thomas Colbaugh and Amelia Cook; two brothers, Terry (Ruthie) Lovelace and Randy Lovelace; two sisters, Paula Lovelace and Wilma Colbaugh; several nieces and nephews; and a very special friend, Phyllis Campbell.
A graveside service will be conducted Thursday, May 7, in the Blevins Cemetery (Stoney Creek) with her son, Rev. Joseph Colbaugh, officiating. Active pallbearers will be Kevin Colbaugh, Brent Perry, Thomas Colbaugh, Matthew Campbell, Randy Colbaugh and David Bowers. Honorary pallbearers will be Rev. Ronnie Campbell, Randy Lovelace and Terry Lovelace. Friends may register their presence at the funeral home Wednesday, May 6, between the hours of noon and 5 p.m. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.
