The City of Johnson City is encouraging customers to enroll in its free autodraft service to pay their utility bills. Enrollment can be completed online via a short form at www.johnsoncitytn.org/autodraft. Customers must upload a copy of a voided check to complete enrollment. Each month’s utility payment will be automatically deducted from the customer’s bank account on the due date. Customers will receive notice of the deduction on their bills each month.
Although autodraft is the preferred method of payment, customers may also pay utility bills online at www.johnsoncitytn.org/payments. Online payments and phone payments will include an additional processing fee of 2.75 percent associated with each transaction.
Temporary payment windows remain available at City Hall (walk-up) and 106 Gray Commons Circle in Gray (drive-thru). The night depository located at City Hall also remains available.
