Ricky Lynn “PeeWee Blevins” Campbell, 60, Elizabethton, passed away Friday, May 8, 2020, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital.
A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late Sherrill and Julie Blevins Campbell.
Ricky retired in 1988 as a tool dye maker. He was a member of Poplar Grove Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dairus and Mary Evelyn Bennett; a nephew, Travis Dean Campbell; a great-grandson, Alexios “Axel” Hensley; and a sister-in-law, Sherry Campbell.
Survivors include his wife, Penny Bennett Campbell; three children, Jermey (Nikki) Campbell, Lynnette Whitehead and Casey (Ron) Street; five brothers, Ronnie (Patty) Blevins, Donnie (Jenny) Blevins, Tim Blevins, Mickey Campbell and Kevin (Robbin) Campbell; one sister, Sally Waycaster; nine grandchildren, Luke, Reese, Kerri-Lynn, Tenaia, Macon, Kelvin, Kelci, Ricky Ray and Rae Ann; two great-grandchildren, Mileena and Ryan; and several special nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted Monday, May 11, in the Bowers Cemetery on Roy Bowers Road with Mr. Richard Thomason, minister, officiating. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to the ICU Staff at Sycamore Shoals Hospital.
