According to II Timothy 4: 6-8. Everyone who met Pam always loved her.
Pamela Ada Taylor Wilson, 65, of Elizabethton, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, May 11, 2020. She was a native of Elizabethton and a daughter of the late Robert Lesley and Bernice Odessa Grindstaff Taylor.
Pam was a 1972 graduate of Unaka High School. She was a member of Lynn Valley Baptist Church, where she taught the Ladies Sunday School Class and organized the annual Ladies Conference. She faithfully served the Lord in many capacities. She worked for the Criminal Court System for the State of Tennessee for 30 years until she retired in 2018.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Geraldine Hinkle and Susie Pritchard, and a brother, Jay Taylor.
Those left to cherish her memories include her husband of 46 years, Dennis; her sons, Christopher (Joanie), Jeremy (Melissia), and Mark Wilson; her grandchildren, Madison, Kailey and Tristan, who were her life; a brother, Richard Taylor; a sister, Peggy Ann Arrowood; her best friend, Carla Hayes; and her Ladies Sunday School Class.
A graveside service will be conducted Thursday, May 14, at Happy Valley Memorial Park with Dr. Mack Tester officiating. Active pallbearers will be Chris Wilson, Jeremy Wilson, Mark Wilson, Tristan Wilson, Matthew Wilson, Josh Wilson, Brandon Wilson and Randy Wilson. Honorary pallbearers will be Buster Arnold, Jim Campbell, Bill Cooper, Doug McCloud and her church family. There will be a Celebration of Life Service at a later date at Lynn Valley Baptist Church. Friends may register their presence at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Wednesday or Thursday morning. The family would like to ask everyone attending the service to wear masks for everyone’s safety. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lynn Valley Baptist Church Ladies Conference, 1367 Broad Street Elizabethton, TN 37643. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Abbie Harris, Myra Blankenship, the staff of Tennessee Cancer Center, the staff of Amedisys Hospice, Megan, Joanie and Sarah for their kindness and compassion.
