Tisa Ann Scott

Tisa Ann Scott, 59, of Watauga, Tenn., went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 10, 2020, at Johnson City Medical Center. Tisa was born in Washington County, Tenn., to the late John W. Young and Shirley Ann Carlton Young. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Scott, and an infant son, Joshua Scott.

Tisa had worked as a cook at Signature Health Care in Elizabethton. She enjoyed cooking and in her honor, the family requests family and friends donate their food, money or time to soup kitchens.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Crystal Scott and Dakota Scott, both of the home; her granddaughter, Lakota Graves, also of the home; her sister, Loretta Blake and husband Terry and their children, Cammie Blake and Nick Blake (Jennifer), all of Marion, N.C., and Jessica Ahn (Brian) and their daughter, Sophia, all of Asheville, N.C.; a special brother-in-law, Thomas Scott of Watauga; and Cody Bardo, whom she loved as one of her own children, of Elizabethton. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A memorial service for Tisa Ann Scott will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 17, at the residence.
