Traffic advisory for graduation parade

GRAY — According to Washington County Sheriff Ed Graybeal, deputies will be conducting traffic control this weekend for the Daniel Boone High School Senior Parade. On Saturday, May 16, at 1 p.m., the senior class of Daniel Boone High School will be participating in a parade from the Appalachian Fairgrounds in Gray to Daniel Boone High School.
The parade will depart the fairgrounds promptly at 1 p.m. and take Gray Station Road to Old Gray Station and then right onto Bobby Hicks Hwy. towards the I26 overpass. During this time, motorists are urged to exercise caution, due care and patience while traveling in the area, as traffic may become congested.
