Sheila Davis, long-time resident of Elizabethton, Tenn., passed away on June 9, 2020. She was 84 years old. There will be a private family burial.
Sheila was born on April 13, 1936 in Boston, Mass. She was an operating room registered nurse and served 19 years in the United States Air Force, medically retiring as a Major. She served at bases in the United States and overseas in the Philippines and Germany.
Sheila married Sidney Davis, Brigadier General, USAF (Ret) in 1977. They were married until 2015, when Sidney passed away.
Sheila loved the Boston Red Sox and fondly remembered watching their games as a child at Fenway Park in Boston. She also loved gardening, cooking and taking care of their dogs and cats.
Sheila is survived by her brother, Stephen (Bobby) L. Goldman; nephews, Andrew Goldman and David Goldman; nieces, Rebecca Mercator and Dina Garfinkle; and step-children, Mark Davis, Kay Tanner, Scott Davis and Leslie Davis.
