Merle Monroe receives first awards nomination for IBMA New Artist Of The Year

Since their debut on Pinecastle Records June 19, 2019, Tim Raybon and Daniel Grindstaff of Merle Monroe have seen numerous top 10 and number 1 songs from their debut project “Back To The Country.” Merle Monroe has taken their message of American Music to the airwaves and have songs on Bluegrass, Country and Gospel stations, and have scheduled appearances from Bluegrass Festivals to Country and Americana stages.
On June 26 at 11 a.m. ET, The International Bluegrass Music Association made their awards nomination announcements on Sirius XM Bluegrass Junction. Merle Monroe received their first awards nomination for IBMA New Artist Of The Year for the upcoming 2020 International Bluegrass Music’s Awards.

In this season of Covid-19, several of Merle Monroe’s scheduled appearances in 2020 have been rescheduled to 2021 and more are being added as current situations allow. With that, the International Bluegrass Music Association World of Bluegrass announced their conference and show would be a virtual event from September 28 – October 3, with the Awards Show being live streamed on October 1. More information regarding the awards show will be announced soon.
