NASHVILLE (AP) — Tennessee’s Wildlife Resources Agency is holding three online events in July to hear from anglers about fishing in the state.
The agency will host Facebook Live events next month to get public feedback about fishing in west, middle and east Tennessee. The meetings are being held online because of COVID-19 restrictions on gatherings and social distancing requirements, the agency said in a news release Tuesday.
“We want to hear what people are experiencing on the water, what they like and don’t like, and any questions they might have,” said Frank Fiss, chief of TWRA Fisheries.
The meeting to discuss fishing in Middle Tennessee is July 9. West Tennessee will be discussed July 14. East Tennessee’s meeting is set for July 16.
The agency is encouraging people to send it questions or comments through email or social media ahead of the meetings, which can be attended virtually and seen live at www.facebook.com/tnwildlife.
